It’s been about a month and half since we took this trip but here I am still writing about it. Our final day was dedicated to Universal Orlando which is made up of two parks: Universal Studios (film and TV) and Island of Adventures (comics and books). We started our day off at Island of Adventures home to Seuss Landing, Harry Potter World, Jurassic Park, Toon Lagoon and Marvel Land.

I recently embarked on a trip of a lifetime to the land of wonder and magic. I went on an African safari, visited the future, travelled around the world, walked through a fairy tale kingdom, entered a world of wizardry and even stepped into a beloved cartoon town. I did all this in less than four days and I got to share this incredible experience with my family. I’m finally ready to share with you the adventures of Fam Jam 2014 in Orlando, FL!

Travels to Myrtle Beach, SC Part One

It’s been awhile since I’ve taken a real road trip. The reason being I don’t do long car rides too well. It’s uncomfortable, nauseating, cramped and time consuming. The trip to Myrtle Beach consisted of a 16 hour drive, a four door Honda Civic sedan, four people and a very finnicky TomTom GPS. I cannot tell you enough how much I hate GPS’s. I don’t know, maybe I’m just old school, but I like to print out instructions and carry a road map over an electronic device any day. Too many times have I been lead astray by a GPS; I’ve learnt my lesson. Not to mention I am a human compass and have impeccable memory of roads and landmarks.
